PHOTO SAFARIS

As the owners of Bosbok Safaris we are very proud to be in the position to offer so much more than the average safari operator.

Firstly, both Phil and Kate are qualified wildlife biologists, enthusiastic conservationists and amateur historians, and can bring a whole new dimension to your experience of touring our country. We spent several years working for our wildlife department, working on elephant and cheetah research projects, giving us insight into the wildlife industry and intimate knowledge of the lay of the land. Phil/and/or and Kate will be your guides on all tours.

Secondly, our main lodge is situated in an ideal part of the country to guide you on a very satisfying and varied photo safari.

All these locations are within a one or two hour drive or much less, of our main accommodation:

  • The World Famous Kruger National Park. Most of our clients choose to spend 2 nights.
  • Blyde River Canyon, largest green canyon, and 3rd largest canyon in the world
  • The wildlife tourist town of  Hoedspruit, with many activities on offer: horse riding in a nature reserve, visit to animal rescue centers, Big Five morning safari, a day at a nature spa, shopping for gifts, golfing in the wild, visit to a giant Baobab tree

We have good contacts in Cape Town and can help you to plan a rewarding trip to our beautiful Mother city.

We can tailor-make a safari to suit your interests and your budget and in almost every case, either Phil or Kate will be your guides.

Last of all: We do not mix groups, allowing us the time to spend on your specific needs and to modify plans to suit the makeup of your group.

Please make inquiries should you need help in putting together a guided tour, and we can make some suggestions and offer advice.

You will need to fly into and out of Hoedspruit / Eastgate airport, unless otherwise
discussed or if you tag this tour onto the end of a hunting safari
