When I decided to hunt Africa in the early 2000’s, I took advantage of my training at the world’s largest field-sports show to interview 52 different African outfitters. I would highly recommend Bosbok Safaris to anyone considering either a hunting or a photo safari to South Africa. Phil’s skill as a professional hunter and guide, is second to none. Hunting is by spot and stalk and and the trophy quality is excellent. Kate and Phil’s accommodation and hospitality are outstanding. My experience hunting with Bosbok was truly amazing. Phil and Kate are running a wonderful outfit and I couldn’t have been happier with the high quality service. We were made to feel like part of the family with wonderful food, daily laundry service, and the personal attention of being the only group in camp. It doesn’t stop there though. The hunting was superb in all aspects. There is a wide variety of game and opportunities, and the PHs worked hard to ensure that I was successful. All of this was without sacrificing the challenge of the hunt. In addition to the hunting, Kate and Phil were always willing to share their knowledge as wildlife biologists about not only the animals we were hunting, but also many other animals, birds and trees we encountered as well. As my first African hunt, I couldn’t have asked for a better or safer experience. We already have plans in motion to go back and are all very excited.

Phil made this a most memorable experience, taking the time to work around someone in a wheelchair and with the young people. The food, the rooms, the hunting were fantastic. See you in a year or two with some others from Mexico.
